interest in this niche area of therapy while working at Texas Institute for Rehabilitation & Research (TIRR Memorial Hermann) as an inpatient Occupational Therapist on the spinal cord injury team. Heather’s passion for wheelchair seating, positioning, and mobility continued to grow when accepting a specialty position at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in Chicago as their Wheelchair Skills and Management Specialist. She collaborated to developed the new program within the inpatient hospital setting, which focused on performing extensive wheelchair trials, evaluations, and instructing on advanced wheelchair skills for clients of all ages having a variety of diagnoses. Heather joined the Quantum family as Stealth Regional Manager in the Midwest South Region in October of 2018.

Heather Roussel graduated with a BS in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University in 2005 and with her Master of Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman’s University in 2015. Heather is a Registered Occupational Therapist with experience working at two of the top nationally ranked rehab hospitals with specific focus in wheelchair seating, positioning, and mobility.  

Heather was first introduced to wheelchair seating and positioning as an Exercise Physiologist when attending a wheelchair evaluation of a long time client with a spinal cord injury.  She developed further
